Mission Statement
The Second Thoughts II... Beyond the Walls Inc. mission is to provide a
setting that helps foster a positive and lasting transformation of adult
and juvenile ex-offenders in their quest towards further rehabilitation and
their successful integration within their respective communities.
Objective
Our objective is to assist the at-risk youth with their struggles towards
conformity. We plan to teach them how to abandon their detrimental and destructive
societal behaviors.
Goal
The goal of Second Thoughts II... Beyond the Walls Inc. is to enhance the
following areas in the lives we will assist: .

Organization
Second Thoughts II... Beyond the Walls Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization
with the ultimate goal of encouraging positive change through self-examination
and by challenging deeply rooted false notions of non-productive behavioral
patterns of those who are at-risk of being incarcerated.
Vision
The Organization's main vision will be to serve as a follow-up and aftercare
resource to youths and adults returning to the community from lock up
facilities.
Counseling and Mentoring
This aspect of the re-entry program will operate in conjunction with the
communoty leaders by assisting at-risk youth in their neighborhood, their
schools, community based programs, Department of Youth Services and Day Reporting
Centers.
Opportunity
To provide jobs, education and guidance to ex-offenders recently leaving
adult or juvenile facilities and re-entering society.
To provide an opportunity for ex-offenders to give back to their communities
by offering their time, life experiences, and counseling services towards
the at-risk youth in their community. We believe that the at-risk youth
will benefit from the mentoring style of the offender's past lifestyles and
consequences.
Prevention
To deter the ex-offender from returning to the penal system by providing
them with meaningful and constructive activities in their community.
Choices!
- Make every decision carefully.
- Think everything through responsibly.
- Exercise your freedom to choose.
- Decide what is right and do it.
You can always choose CHOICES but you cannot choose the CONSEQUENCES of
your choices.
The thing about the CHOICES make is after we MADE THEM THEY turn around
and MAKE US!

Not an Excuse.
Life is all about making MISTAKES and LEARNING from them.

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the
sort of house I lived in or the kind of car I drove...
But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a
child!
