As you can see we have a lot to do. We are going to need your
help to help others.
Contributions:
The Castle of Hope for Lost Souls has received it Tax
exempt ruling from IRS and is now a publically supported organization described
in section 501(c)(3). Contributions to the Castle of Hope for
Lost Souls are tax deductible.
Clergy:
I am going to need men and women of the clergy and religious leaders
of all faiths who are willing to get e-mail from people seeking help.
As I said the main thing is for the person to find themselves. There
are times when they also find God and/or they want God’s help.
Those who have been there and done that:
I am also looking for recovering addicts, alcoholics and ex cons to
help others recover. If you look at the web sites in you may see where
you can help. Addicts and Alcoholics Speak , LASTCHANCE and Stairway
Outreach are sites that you can help with. If you live in the Detroit
Metropolitan Area you may want to help us get the Castle going in Detroit.
Professionals with a heart:
We need legal services to help the innocent prisons prove their innocence
and get out of prison. Pro-bono or fees to be collected out of proceeds
from the future law suits against the state, negligent attorneys and anyone
else legally responsible and can be sued. It is not only death row
inmates that need help. As a friend of mine serving life for a murder
he did not commit says, “Life with no parole is a death sentence too.”
We also need psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and others
in the mental health field to be available if needed for lost souls who
need your help. There are many in the streets with mental problems
and no one to help them. There are also the addicts that may need
your help.
Volunteers:
I am going to need volunteers to help with the office work.
Office and Meeting Space:
Does anyone out there have a spare building in Downtown Detroit that
can be used for meetings and office space and possibly emergency bed space,
we need it. We do not care how rough the area is but we do want it
close to downtown.
The building I want looks like a castle and is a couple of blocks from
where I live. It is a pie shaped building taking up the whole block
in between Cass, Grand River and Adams. It is owned by the City
of Detroit.
