Detroit get out and vote

Your vote may determine who is going to win the election.  There has been a push lately to get people registered.  Downtown I see people out there with registration forms.  All you have to do is fill it out and they will register you.  Click here for Detroit DEPARTMENT OF ELECTIONS VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION.

If you are 18 or over VOTE.  It is not only your right but also your duty.  Look at the last presidential election.  If more people got off their asses to vote we may have had a different president.

I am not going to endorse a candidate.  As a 501 (c) (3)  we can not endorse a candidate of  help them in any way.

The problem with polititians is  that they do not know how to talk to the voters.  They do not promote themselves as much as the cut down their opponents.  Look at what they have done in the past.  What they say is not always what the will do.  In many cases they talk the talk but do not walk the walk.  Many times it is a hard choice.  Many times you find yourself voting against a candidate instead of for one.

You have to be careful and do your homework when it comes to voting.  You will hear a lot for and against and true and false about a candidate.  Look at their record.  go to a search engine and put in their name.

This is your country.  It has a lot of problems and there are a lot of things that need to be done to help improve it.  Get involved.  Your country needs help.  It needs you.  The elections are important.  Your Federal, State, City and School elections are all just as important.  Primaries,  General and Special elections are just as important.

It is also important to contact you public officials when you see something that needs their attention.  If you see corruption, report it.  If you see crime report it.  Here is another place where the search engines are important.

Vote and Get Involved.
